The CIA was infuriated. "That's our money. About 30 billion per year. Fuck that. We're going in, and we did, and protecting that revenue source. Our agenda is just too important to screw around."

The United States, whilest robbing Iraq and Afghanistan (a strategy used by Hitler who robbed every smaller country he invaded to fund his next incursion) gained resources to expend on the, quite literally, undermining of Iran.
